I've only played a couple hours so far, but I'm enjoying it! I like the flashlight mechanic and how sometimes its easier to see with it off. The music and sounds work well - no issues telling what direction the creatures are.
That said, the biggest issues I faced was the creatures spawning in and standing still, or spawning and running into the edge of the map. Both made it difficult to track down the last ones on a wave.
The damage is a bit inconsistent as well, sometimes I would graze a creature and lose about 5% of my health and sometimes I would lose 100% - on the same monster.
This did not bother me much because the game used my monitors default settings, but I could not change any of the settings.
I think the core of the game is fun and the music fits nicely. I think some fine tuning and the game will be great!
Only thing I would really like is save slots.
As a first game, really well done!
